Default anyone ever notice that something always goes wrong?

right when it seems like everything is going so good, something goes straight to hell. I have all the parts I need to finally get the car running, I got the A/C hose problem worked out and all the A/C parts ready to install, and tomorrow I'm making a final run to the junkyard to get the reverse switch hookup for my T5. So on my way to Advance to charge the battery, I close the garage door...but wait...i forgot the battery, I press the open button and the door starts to go up...then gets stuck about 6in up. So basically, I cant work with the door open. There's nothing blocking the door, and the light isnt flashing telling me something is wrong, it just refuses to open. We think that the 1/2HP 13yrold motor might not be able to handle the newer heavier hurricane proof door anymore and is finally crapping out.

Just unhook the door from the motor. Probably burned up that little 1/3 hp motor.

I really hope you're not stuck on the ULTRA channel.[&:]

I really hope it's at least on. What would you do if it was off.[sm=insomnia.gif]

yeah....i know the feeling. finally was able to use my new compressor and somehow the drain plug on the bottom of the compressor is like missing....and before that a wheel was broken so i couldnt really move it....and if its not that its like "oh the power is out" or....the drill batt. is dead.....etc etc etc....always something....its like trying to work with an ship anchor tied to your shoe laces.....
