thats a pretty broad question. whenever i want to find out what something is worth, i look it up on ebay - i feel it gives you TRUE worth, as opposed to appraised worth, cause that is what people are paying for the stuff right now in the real world.

I tried Ebay, and found nothing. I was hoping here there would be someone that had sold or bought one of those engines before...

you sure? i look on ebay motors almost every day checking out the prices for a 427 or a 428, because I want one for my 67 mustang fastback. there is one on there right now for around 3500 buyout price i think. now im gonna have to go check! so what is your uncle gonna put this engine in?

just get a crate engine there cheaper and warantied. ive seen an origional 428cj all decked out for 9000!
