mustang ifs or coilover kit
I have a 1967 mustang coupe and am completely tearing down. needed to replace both front aprons and radiator support, i am pondering whether to put a heidts ifs kit or coilover kit? car will mainly be on street but like to carve some corners. or should i just rebuild the factory suspension?
of course even if it was a show car that was never driven you want the awesome IRS stuff! but thats only if you can afford it and afford to get everything else done....if not...just keep it stock i guess....
you'd be prteety surprised with the handling provided by a fresh suspension that's nicely stiffer than stock. try the grab-a-trak from mustang's plus. if you want coilover and the like look at total control products. they have everything you could be looking for. you considered air baggin it?

what ever you do, good luck and remember to drive it like you stole it.

middiepride the ridetech link is only the rear not the front. id go with tcp or www.rrs-online.com/index.php but if you really want the mustang 2 ifs get this www.martzchassis.net/page3.htm its alot stronger then the normal weld in ones and its the same one that year ones fastback with the 4.6 in it used
i lefta litle room for rocracer to look around, the links right on the page though. its the shockwave kit. i like the sound of the stronger II frontend. im with you andrewmp6 on the tcp setup. its seems to be the most economical and straightforward kit that's not questionable for a real driver.
