Some of the tear down pics... 72 Rustang, does the interior shot look familiar? Your before pic reminded me of the 71 when I was taking it apart.

This car has so much rust we started the Pit of Despair group over it. To bring a car back from this far gone is not for the novice..lol. To most it was a parts car, but hey who doesnt love a challenge?

Here are some of the putting it back together shots. The last few days have been spent on the 67 Cougar, so the Mustang hasnt gone far, but once I get the bottoms of the doors patched, then I can align them so the quarters can be hung. The trunk floor shouldnt be that much more difficult with the quarters on and the car takes up less space in one piece than it does scattered all over the shop.

Its going to have alot of parts fabricated by me for it, simply because the rust is extensive and some parts arent available in repops. The interior will probably be made by me except for seat covers and the dash pad. Just because its cheaper than buying the stuff..lol.

Im taking donations to buy the suspension parts needed for both the Mustang and Cougar

Off topic but Soaring, I dont see any shingles on your roof. Looks like tar paper. What is the material?
Nah, we have shingles. That's just the way the light it hitting it. Here are a couple of shots I just now took. And Thumpin, actually we don't get tornadoes in central Texas. That's further up north around Dallas and into Oklahoma and Kansas.

Absolutely, mi casa es su casa. If you are ever in this neck of the woods stop by for a cold one. That sign was made in Portugal. Some friends had it made up for us when I retired there last year. The Portugese are famous for their tile work.

Same silver off of a 2002 Ford Lightning. Ghost flames are pearl blue metallic on top of a flame base coat that is just a shade lighter silver than the rest of the car.

Yeah, there is a reason why Mojoe won the November Ride of the Month contest. His paint job is one of the many reasons.
