What is the ride of the month contest? Where can I find info about it?

We started this contest a few years ago, and it has progressed to where only certain categories of Mustangs are allowed to participate per certain months. In November, the classics were featured, and MoJoe won. I used to have a classic for each month contest, and may start that up again. Anyway here is the link to the contest.

Some of the tear down pics... 72 Rustang, does the interior shot look familiar? Your before pic reminded me of the 71 when I was taking it apart.
Yeah, I still look back at your "before" pics every now and then. I guess the phrase that comes to mind is "morbidly fascinating". Cool that your 71 is starting to resemble a car again. Your kung fu is among the best.

If anything I am amazed that the cowl in the 72 was in such good shape given the state of the floors. Just needed a small patch on the passenger's side, maybe 3 by 6 inches or so.

yeah the cowl in the 71 is freaky rusted. The plan is to fill the drivers side in and repair the passenger side from the bottom. Only gonna need a defroster in it, and if the heater box doesnt go back in, then the cowl will be smothed on the bottom. Still undecided about where it will go. Sometimes its easier to leave stuff out..lol...

the 71 is like a train wreck or car crash with a fatality, you dont wanna look but something draws you to it. cant wait till it looks as good as Yonco's ride... but it has disc brakes now, found some granada spindles and calipers, traded some Cleveland exhaust manifolds for them. Cant beat the price...

your car reminds me of when i was little and my grandpa had a piece of crap MGB....just totally wrecked but it was his project i remember standing there looking at it with him...it got quiet, and i said "well at least the glass is good..." trying to act like i knew what i was talking about and him just bursting into laughter for at least 20 min because i was this 5 yr old kid trying to make his grandpa feel better about his car or whatever when it was really just a parts car for his real car. i didnt understand what he was laughing at until years later, even though he explained it...i dono just funny memory.
