honestly its probably worth the 400 bucks to get an other block, and reallistically your block is only going to be original to your car, and your car alone. if you may ever sell your car, its a plus to say youve got the origional block stored.

you make the call. it's your car.

BS....there is no turning back. Once modified, the car and engine, etc,. wiill remain modified. I have yet to see or hear of a modified Mustang that was put back to original condition after modifiications took place.
Maybe because stock kind of sucks???Unless it is a show queen that is. Not everyone can afford 2 stangs Soaring.
Trust me, I probably have less money invested in my stock 65 and my 03 MachI than most of you restomod guys have invested in your one car. And stock sucking is your opinion, and certainly doesn't reflect the total aspect of classic owners who wish to keep theirs original and stock as much as possible.

Restomod does not have to cost much more than restoration. When parts wear out, upgrade a bit, pretty simple. Some do go overboard, but most only have the cost of one stang, not more than two.
A 16s 1/4 mile is not muscle or much fun, actually, it's kind of embarassing. Come to the dark side, white69mach1...I am your father!

i love stock mustangs. my mom has a '65 mustang convertable that is a compleatly stock A-code. the only non-stock stuff are the belts/hoses, tires andits been painted once. i love her car but i also have my mustang which i bought to have fun with and tinker with and it has a lot of mods to make it more safe and driveable where we only dirve my moms during the summer. we have this thing called Hot August Nights and thats really the only time we drive hers so i guess it all comes down to personal preferance and taste. personally i would love to have a compleatly stock car but those always seem to be a little more expensive so i opted for a converted 6-cyl.
