numbers matching 351w
I have a 1969 mach1 numbers matching im falling toward more of a restromod. My queston is i wana get more power so should i just rebuild numbermatching engine the way i want it or get a diffrent block and put the original enigne up
BS....there is no turning back. Once modified, the car and engine, etc,. wiill remain modified. I have yet to see or hear of a modified Mustang that was put back to original condition after modifiications took place.
If you have a survivor, all original car (original parts, engine, drivetrain, interior, paint) dont touch that car. If the car has been restored or has new parts, thenif youwant to restomod the car remove the original engine and get a crate motor, but keep the original engine. You can always bring a car back to original factory specs,it just takes money. If the car is not an all original car or a survivor I wouldnt worry about restomoding it, just do not alter theoriginal engine and drivetrain...keep them and install new parts if you want to alter those areas. Just my 2 cents.
its not a survivor but it has been restored in 1992 and they parked it in 1999 and i got it last year its been on the cover of mustang monthly before i got it storage isnt a problem so i should just put the motor up any body know a good short block because i already have heads and intake
