I still kick myself in the *** over a 66 Impala my ex wife's mother gave me.
It was a green with a white top painted not vinal.
Four door hardtop. To this day I havent seen another 4 door hardtop.
When all the windows were down it was a pretty cool car.283 powerglide and factory air.
Floated down the highway and just rolled all day @ 80mph.
I lived in Apts @ the time anytime I had the hood up it was a fight with the manager.
The front seal blew and I sold it to a guy @ work for $500

-paint/body (to include getting rid of the landau top, that scares me), new deck lid w/duck tail, new glass hood 67 shelby style, paint either black with charcoal stripes, or red w/a black gt type stripe
-smoke tinted windows all the way around
-new suspension
-new tires and wheels
-R type front valance w/bumper
-Billet grills
etc.etc.etc.

I stop for a while when it gets to not be fun anymore.

yeah, only problem is I'm getting out of the military and have to wait until I get picked up by the FAA. even then It'll be a while until I'm no longer takin a pay cut. So until then, at least I can start the tear down part and start striping paint and preping the car for the paint and body work that I'll be farming out. Other than that I'm trying to talk the boss into getting me an 03/04 cobra to drive while I slowly put the 67 back together.
Cool those cobras are the chit.
I almost bought one new in 03 but it had all the issues ticking left side head and clunky rear.
The 3rd gear whine all for 36k and they wouldnt budge a penny and acted like they didnt know what I was talking about with the problems they needed to fix.
Those are some very fast car with a few minor mods.
I left the ford dealership rolled into Honda and drove a new RC-51 home instead that day.lol

Congrats! I too am in the process of installing a Paxton supercharger. How about more details - carburetor (Demon 575 or 650 mighty?), engine details, etc. Are you installing the Paxton yoruself. Will you use a Dyno to tune it?

Iam doing most of the work myself altho my bud Rick does offshore mega- powerd race boats is keeping me in line. lol
Paxton novi 1200 is based of crank hp. Out of the box makes 7-8lbs of boos from a stock 289 -302
When I told them what I was building they told me NOT to change the pulley it may make 10+ based of the hp of my engine set up.
Run it 1st and see what it makes then decide. My future plans involve a air to air intercooler and a smaller pulley.
My carb is a custom built Holley 750 for blow thru.

All the numbers add up like I was told it should pull down 500+ @ the rear wheels.
Suspension is Rod and custom tubular mustang rack and pinion kit comes with disc brakes.
Rear is Grab a track mid eye 5 leaf with hd urethane shakel kit.
Holley sucked no help @ all just pimping for the carbshop's 1200$ overpriced carbs. Mine was half of that built by a pro race tunner
