Default Help me avoid the pitfalls, stealth swap

I have a '65 convertible with a 302 roller, (moderate cam, Edelbrock Thunder avs 650, modified heads, 1.7 rockers, Magnaflow 2.5"). Have settled on a weland stealth as a replacement for the old edelbrock which has developed a crack. The swap seems very straight forward, which is generally when it bites me in the ****... so I thought I'd ask if there was anything likely to trip me up on this? Experience is EVERYTHING. What am I likely to do wrong?
Thanks for the feedback,

There is a guy on eBay that sells CD's on how to do engine work - I've got a couple of his videos. Good stuff. Get the one that shows how to swap heads, cam, intake for the 302 Ford. If you like having visual backup to a book then his stuff is worth it. He sells under the name "ezsautomotive".
