Default Doors

I have a 67 Coupe and im about to pull the doors to begin working on them....so that leads into my questions...ok so I need to put new window cranks and locks in both doors and theres some surface rust threwout the door on the inside...so how do I go about cleaning that up? The doors are in very good condition outside but im not sure how to go about the inside

Get some liquid rust inhibitor. Roll the window all the way up, and paint the inhibitor on the inside as much as you can,. then roll the window down and hit those places you couldn't reach before. If the door is off of the car, you could just pour some inhibitor in, then tilt the door to where it gets to those hard to reach places. A cheap and very good product is "Rust Away" that you can get at Ace hardware.

What exactly does that do..? Like stunt the spread of rust or is it just some type of paint?
