I don't know what you guys are talking about. I put new KYB's on mine a few months ago, and they just slipped right through the hole, then I turned them so the bolt holes lined up. Be sure you mount the top before mounting the bottom.

 

Ditto to sxs191 and 4reboy. I needed to angle mine some to slip the shock tower caps by the prongs on the shocks. I wouldn't say that it was difficult, but you do need to take the right angle. I just repainted my shock tower caps last weekend.

 

I was gonna take them off and list them on ebay, but forget that, Ill just trash it. I got new caps and KYB's anyways.

Glen, I made sure my new caps and KYb's fit good and it was no problem at all.
