well considering he was also selling a 1968 fastback w/ a 289, no windshield, some rust, mising engine peices (not much) and an interior gone to the crapper for 10,500. Mustangs in my area sell for a crap load (california)

I'm actually still in high school. But I do live near long beach state. A little closer to long beach city college in fact, but still close to state. kinda in between.

My parents and I paid 5K for my 65' GT and we keep finding little hidden things that are wrong with. Oh well, I'm getting pretty close to painting it so I can drive it to school and show that kid with the STI what a real car is. Also you can get an interior kit for like $500-$600, but for that 1970 Fastback it'd probaly be more like $700. I'd buy, sounds like a good deal, but make sure to check it over VERY carefully, looks can be decieving. Good luck!

You can't find any classic cars in Oregon, there's like nothing here. I had to drive all the way to Washington to get my stang. But there is a guy about 10 miles away from me that has like 30 or more cars sitting at his house that he's restored or is restoring, including a 65' GT like mine. Maybe a late night raid is in order. lol

Aight so i went to see the car and it has more rust than i expected. The back end of the underbody looks pretty good but right under the drivers seat there is rust holes in he floor. There is bubble rust on the regular spots of the body (rear wheel wells, door corners). The engine has 10,000 miles on it. It has been bored out .2 over. It has a new carb 4V. I went there and offered him 2000 cash and he said heck no. He said he wanted 6500. So i left. 4 days later he decided to take 2000 and i am going to pick it up tomarow. I will post pics as soon as possible. I am haveing shoulder surgery in a week so it is gonna kill me not to be able to work on my new car. Give me a month and i will be out there working on both cars

Well Wish me Luck
