Default Autolite 4100

Does anyone know what the difference is between these two carbs? They look identical, but one says"With Choke Pipe Out" and is $198. The other one says "With Choke Pipe Down and is $159. Might be a stupid question, but what does this mean? You will probably have to enter your zip code when you open the link and then it goes to the part.

Yeah, it seems like a really good price. But, I have no idea what the difference is between them. My plan is to replace the Holley 4160 that I have with an Autolite 4100 for a lower cfm and get the original part on the car. According to the part number, the Holley I have now is for 1960-1962 Ford and Mercurys with a 390 engine. Holley tech support told me it is a 600 cfm carb.

just a general questions about those 4100's.
I habe the 2100 at the moment, can I exchange them 1:1 or do I have to get a different intake manifold ?
I mean is the socket that goes onto the manifold same sice or bigger ?

You have to get a 4V intake manifold if you want to run a 4V carb.

Robert I don't see a description at all for either one of them. They have a contact section at the bottom. Try getting ahold of them and ask them the difference.

HELLO! Dont you guys remember i WORK AT ADVANCE AUTO PARTS! Listen, if you call an AAP they're going to tell you some crap, because they dont know. The carbs from AAP are champion rebuilds. I would take the part numbers down and contact champion about it. And another thing, tell me what they say because im about to buy one. Actually the site has changed, the 198.00 was a holley rebuild..... oh well.
