Just find a core and rebuild it. Heck, I picked up 3 cores at a swap meet for 25 bucks total. I built one just a coupleweeks ago and sold it for 100 bucks.

just a general questions about those 4100's.
I habe the 2100 at the moment, can I exchange them 1:1 or do I have to get a different intake manifold ?
I mean is the socket that goes onto the manifold same sice or bigger ?

You have to get a 4V intake manifold if you want to run a 4V carb.
just what I guessed. Thanks for confirming this. Appreciated.

I'll try to get ahold of Champion to make sure I am getting the right one. My main concern is that I have a manual transmission and my understanding is that there were different ones for the automatics and manuals.

I'll post what I find out.
