Default Blinker Trouble

Once again another problem has occurred on my 68Coupe... i did find that the noise from my front suspension was just a little upper ball joint needing replaced. but on to greater matters, ever since i bought this car around christmas the blinkers only light up but will not blink. the hazards work. but the blinkers just stay soild. i ve replaced most of the bulbs and still... just a constant light. is my switch bad? or could the contacts just be dirty. because i did notice that if you mess with the hazard button the blinkers wont work. and the way my luck has been... i would imagine i have to replace the switch. if anyone has an idea let me know.. thanks fellas

I have an extra flasher for my 1969 just hanging out in my garage looking for a new job, I'm not sure if they are the same or not, but if you do the research and send me a PM I'll drop it in the mail for you.

Edit: Second thought - not sure if, in-fact, the flasher is your problem. If the hazards work, I think the flasher should be fine. Maybe a bad ground? Maybe a bad blinker switch? Offer still stands if you want the flasher though.

had the same thought but wasn't sure on what the problem description was about.

KS68STANG: what's exactly the story with hazzard lights ?
do all 4 blinkers flsh when you put ion the hazzard ? if yes, then flasher can't be the problem.
if not, then what do you mean with "mess around with the hazzard" ?
