Default Dynamat - before/after

Thought you might like to view the install of the sound/temperature retardant. Dynamat I've heard great things about the material.

Could you tell me what differences you notice with having the Dynamat?

Also how would this efect the value of a classic Mustang?

Thanks

I am curious to know the investment you had to make to do that much dynomat and where you purchased it from.

It looks good and I hope works great.

Thanks,
Deebo

i believe the most important will be to get rid of the noise from Motor (firewall).
It must be great for a daily driver to not have the noise anymore, but I personally just love the rough inside of it.
I only drive it very seldom though

Mines focused around my audio system. The stuff blocks the sound from the subs so well. Mines not as elaborate as the original poster, but thats going to be impressive. The stuffs pricey though.

Wow man, that looks impressive. Let us know what the difference is from now and before. Also, how many square feet of dynamat did you use? Did you use it on your roof and (i can't tell from the picture) the firewall?

The dynamat stuff is, unfortunately, expensive. Each box runs $200. To do the entire car - floor, side panels, doors, trunk - 3 boxes are required plus a $400 install fee (the interior has to be removed, of course.)

I hope the benefits will be worth it. For those who have done this - they swear by it. The noise and hets are GREATLY reduced. I'll let you know what I think once my car is put back together.

Keep in mind you do NOT have to dynamat the entire car to get good benefits. You can simply do one section.
