Default Need help with 1967 coupe...

I just purchased a 1967 mustang coupe and have been reading this forum before even buying the car. Here are my questions:

1. The cars leaking oil about an apple size circumference, but it tends to stop when the weather gets cold. What are the common leaks that come in mind for you guys and is it costly? Please give me your estimated amount that I'd spend. (I would do everything myself but my HOA (home owners assocation) fined me buddy for working in his carport.

2. What mufflers would you recommend? I have a buddy that stated flowmasters.... Thanks

3. The front brakes have been changed to disk but the car is so hard to stop. I have to begin stopping about 100 feet before coming to a stop (speed is at about 40-50) an dpressing pretty hard. If something jumped in my way its hit for sure! Anyone want to diagnose te problem and givea estimated price?

Oil leak could be alot of things, w/o very good pictures and description it would be hard to diagnose here. Better off having someone look at it.

Flowmasters sound good on my car.

Brake problem, do your rears engage at all? Is your fluid full? Could be a master cylinder issue if fronts barely grab and rears don't grab at all. Is it a single or double MC? Do you see any brake fluid leaking around your tires? If you see fluid it might be wheel cylinders but unlikely from your description. Sounds like an overall hard to stop situation which to me screams low fluid or disfunctioning master cylinder. Either one is not that expensive of a fix, 10 bucks for fluid or 200 ish for a good double master cylinder.

Since the brakes have been upgraded to disk, they might not have changed the brake pedal with one from a disk brake car. standard drum brakes have a different pivot point than disk brakes
