help 73 ignition switch

Default help 73 ignition switch

can any one tell me how i get my ignition switch out of the steering column. i am pulling my hair. the ignition will turn the motor over but will not kill power. i have my steering wheel pulled off but i don't see how to get it out. thanks.

If I'm not mistaken, there should be a small hole somewhere around or below the switch.
That is the hole that will release the switch.
You will need a very small allen wrench, pushing it into the hole and slowly turning the key (after inserting it) to on, but not to the start position. As you slowly turn the key, pull gently on it and when the key gets to the right spot, it just pops out. Believe it or not, it is that simple.
