stroker engine issues
do stroker engines have longivity problems and are prone to oil burning issues? can you get more miles out of a 302 rather than a stroker?
would i need a new tranny and rear end with the 347? or is a rebuilt tranny and 8in rear end adequate?
(planning on getting a 347 and using it as a weekend/monthly driver, i dont think i will be pushing it too hard too often)

unless you are going to be using the car as a daily driver dont worry about the longevity of the motor. it all depends on how much horse you try to squeeze out of that 302 or 347. you can build a 302 to put down 350-400 pretty easy.

As long as it is built by a quality shop it will last, what kind of trans do you plan on running will determine if it will last. as for the 8' rear I blow mine with a worn out 302 so I don't have much faith in them, but others on here will swear by them so use your own judgement there.
i havent touched mine yet, only changed the fluid in there. its an 8" with 3.40's - i think i have some axle bearings loose though, i can actually move the tire up and down a bit when its jacked up. oh well, run it till it blows then stuff a 9" under there
