Cowl spot welds?

Default Cowl spot welds?

I plan on replacing the inner cowl on my 68 coup. I can see the spot welds near the holes for the export brace and on the sides near the drain hole. The spot welds around the windshield aren't as prominent. How do I find them so I can drill them out?

pass a wire wheel over top of them to reveal the low spots(spot welds)

You have to take the windshield out.

remove everythign such as windshiled liek Soaring said and use a wire brush to clean out the area. You are gonan be there a while removing them! search cowl stuff on here there are plenty of pics and all ! good luck!
