Default Starter!

The starter crapped out on me yesterday. [:@][:@][:@]

Does anyone have a recommendation for a high-torque mini-starter?

351w with 4-spd toploader

Thanks in advance!

I just picked up a Summit mini starter for about $150. It is sold as Summit brand but it is a Protorque I believe. If you need it, I have a Kragen type rebuild that is basically brand new that I'm not using because I misdiagnosed it as being bad. Oops. Otherwise, the Summit starter is pretty nice for the money and they had it to me within two days. Keep in mind you'll have to do some very easy wiring to accommodate the new starter.

Thanks for the suggestions!

Found this one on Ebay and it looks pretty decent.

Even has 1-year warranty.

Thinking I'll try it, since $$$ is tight with a wedding coming up.

Thanks again!

I think the bride will want to be driven around in your car for the wedding ... i guess at least
So it's either get starter or park downhill only ...
