Sticky section is getting full again

... An example is that it would cost Dennis 400 bux to advertise for 6 weeks for his disk brake upgrade kit. It is expensive.
Now, without those advertisers contributions, we would not be able to discuss our mustangs here. This site would not exist without the money the advertisers contribute. Hello....welcome to the real world.

I sincerely doubt that a banner ad would work for me. It would need to generate at least 30 sales to be cost effective in comparison to eBay. Perhaps it would, I would need some assurance. In addition, it would be hard to offer a Forum discount on top of paying for the ad. I realise that the forum owner expects to make a return on their investment, but the forum membersexpect access to vendors that are willing to offer special deals. They are the most active and knowledgable participants in the hobby. In fact, these membersseek special deals. Because this group of potential customers is relatively small and insulated from the mass market, it is possible for me to offer discountswithout devaluing my product (this is important).

Why do you call it 'sticky'?
Seriously. Is that one of the 'dizzys' that new people are automatically supposed to know?
Since the English language is in such peril and neglect at this site, you should create a 'sticky' dedicated to translation.

It's called a "sticky" because it "sticks" there and is always at the top. I guess you could call it a "toppy" but that sound redunkulass. Things just happen and catch on, it's the interweb, new words are created daily. On a side note, do you call it a yellow post it note? I call 'em stickies or yellow stickies.

You know those little plastic stick pins that you use to put messages on bulletin boards? Well the messages are called stickies, because they are stuck to the bulletin board with a stick pin. So, therefore the term sticky for messages we STICK to the top of the section. The word stick carries conotations that it can be removed just as the messages we put on top can be removed.
Way to computer geek for me.......speak Mustangeese plez!

1200 lines on a WS24 is bigger than 1200 lines on a 20." I run 1600x1200 on a 18" screen. Yeah...it's CRT...much better clarity than LCD.
