over time the inslation on any wiring becomes brittle and brakes easily. Yes wiring is a common area in a restoration. most people get the painless kits from just about any mustang vendor. shop around venders have the same kits but charge different prices. You will find a list of vendors in the FAQ.

Are these kits (painless or francis) direct install? Does the kits have all the stock ends etc. I want to completely redo all my electrical, but I want it to be vehicle specific and just as the title says PAINLESS.

if you are electrically inclined and what not it shouldnt be that painless since most of it is color coded and plugs are same as stock such as for the steering column. I dunno about painless but francis has them somewhat custom made to what is on your vehicle.! give them a call im sure they'll clear you up!
