Default 1968 rear bumper question

I noticed my rear bumper has a slight curvature inward in the center. It fits the car perfect. Even on the sides it matches up to the quarter extensions. I thought this was kinda odd. Can someone look at theirs and see if it is the same. It almost looks as if maybe it was hit right in the center and bent in.

When I can uncover my car I will look for you. Frozen in Nashville!

I have a 68 convertible. My back bumper has a slight bow inward at the center. I noticed this only by standing on the side looking across to the opposite side. I can not see any signs that the bumper was hit. But I don't think it should have the sweep to it. Maybe we both got hit in the back. I have had 67's which use the same bumper and don't remember this on them. Joe

It's correct to have a bow inward. Mine is like that too...

My 68 rear bumper is jacked and its brand new. Stupid Repops. It is curved up so much in the middle that it actually hits the bottom of the gas cap and doesnt allow it to pop down all the way.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the info. I was begining to sweat it. The bumper looks new and I thought it may have been a re-chromed bent bumper.
