New Radio/Old Style Am/FM
Keep us updated on how it works. I had heard some less than enthusiastic reviews of custom auto sounds' radios, in the past.
The features of this radio really make it an appealing option. Does it have pre-outs for adding an amp or sub? This type of radio will also work with my factory console, so I'd love to be able to use something like this!

The radio in it's original opening- to my mind - is one of the key desing features of a vinatge 65/66 Mustang.
However, there are not many options. You can:
1) put in an original AM radio in the original opening (with a very limited station selection)
2) you can have an original AM radio in the original opening PLUS a modnern radio in the glove box (of course, you must give up glove box space and it can be awkard to access. Also, some people don't care for the thoughtof dual radios.
3) youn can put in an original AM/FM radio in the original opening (if you have $2,000 for these units!)
4) you can put in a modern radio (often with a Mustang graphic on the faceplate) in the original opening (mixed reviews on quality
5) or you can try out htis new option which look exactly like the original AM?FM but has all the current accessory options, including an iPod connection.
I know CustomAutoSOunds has less than a stellar reputation - I'm juts hoping this model is as good as it looks.
