Default Bed liner in Engine bay

I was contemplating putting the Hurculiner into my engine bay. Has anyone done this? Or any suggestions? FYI my engine is currently out.

I haven't seen this done but I have seen the complete interior of an old Bronco done this way. Ot's pretty tuff stuff. You might also check out this month's issue of Mustang Monthly or Mustangs and Fast Fords. One of those has a fastback with a white and splatter engine compartment. It is beautiful but looks like a pain in the butt to keep clean!

It would be cool if you could get your car completly stripped and clean metal, and then line the underside, flooring,in the trunk, and engine bay...

I have been thinking of this too. I think it would be really cool, especially done in body color or an offset color. It might be a little tuff getting into some of the tight corners and edges, I think it would be worth it though.

Well I guess I am one of the first to do this, Ill def keep everyone up to date. JMD I have been sanding the corners by hand with 40 grit and plan on doing all black liner and my stang is metallic grey. I think it will be worth it too, but well see.

soaring i think he means paint it on the inter fenders support and firewall bed liner is hard as a rock and things like oil and coolant or even brake fuild wont hurt it and its rust proof if done right

I've seen several early model engine bays done in bedliner material... and I personally didn't like it. I felt it detracted from the estethics of the engine bay and drew the eye away from the motor rather than accenting it.

(how's that for an artsy fartsy opinion..)

That being said.... 'It's your thing....do whatcha wanna do"....
