I am building a street 302 that a daily driver. Does anyone have any suggestions on Ignition systems? I contemplating a MSD, petronix or stick with stock and put on a new cap and rotor.

 

If you can afford MSD it is the best. I am running Pertronix and it is a good cheap alternative. I would not recommend using stock points and condenser. However, if you use Pertronix,keep your points and condenser in your glove box in case the Pertronix goes out on the road. You might also look at Mallory. Sometimes they are a little cheaper than MSD and are a good product also.

 

I just picked up a Procomp HEI setup, will be installing it next weekend. BTW, any hints on installation of an HEI unit?
