Hey James - What size did you order to fit your frame? Where did you order your AFCO radiator from?? I did a search and nothing specific to AFCO came up just secondary market suppliers?

I also got a Northern from JEGS. It is a great unit. It installed right on and keeps the car VERY cool.

What about fans? I was thinking about switching to electric? And I can't find those northern radiators every one is talking about, does anyone have a part number?

Do a search on this.

AFCO 80100FN

Here's how I made it fit:

i found the northern radiators for a 65-66 at dallas mustang for around $300. it looks like the aluminum radiators that you find on ebay for the same application. i think the radiators with a blue anodized filler neck are northern, but i could be wrong.

I also have the Northern brand aluminum direct fit. Got it from a local radiator shop but I believe its the exact same as this one from Summit. http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1∂=SUM%2D380461&N= 700+0&autoview=sku Definitly worth the few extra bucks.

Oh and this is going in a 71 302. What I took out was a 19 x 31 should I replace it with a 19 x 31? All these radiators everyone is suggesting are quite-a-bit smaller, or so it seems.

The second radiator I looked at has Dual Spal Electric Fans. Is that over kill if I plan on putting my A/C back in?

67 and up have much larger radiators than 65-66.

don't go smaller whatever you do...width is the key to rad effectiveness not depth (ie no.of rows)
