Default Tremec 5 Speed in Classic

Has anyone put a late model Tremec transmission into a classic Mustang? If so, did you encounter any issues that I should consider before doing this?

I am about to move forward with this, and I am fairly sure that this should be fairly straight forward, but I thought I better check around first.

Thanks in advance for your help!!

You will need to make a mount. Really easy. Or you can buy one for about $130.I have done 2 and gearing up for the third. Whats the final drive? Shifter will be close to the right side of the opening in the tunnel. I just mount a Hurst handle on the left side of the stub and after the boot is on, you can't tell it.

Far out, I was thinking about going ahead and ordering one today but I got scared and thought I might better check things out a little more first.

The final drive is a 4.10,

And thanks for the input!

I put a Tremec in my '66 about 9 years ago.
Install was easy and benefits have been impressive.

The car has a pedel in it now, but I kind of like the idea of a cable setup, sounds cleaner.

Thanks Evil and Rmodel
