Default Dust Sheild

Im tryin to replace the lower ball joint but its permanantly rivited to the lower arm. Has anyone every replaced just the ball joint or do you have to buy the whole unit?

any help is appreciated

I would just buy a new LCA and save the hassle...

BTW, why did u title it dust shield?

Yeah, you will need some C-4 to get it loose. Just get the whole unit.

yeah the bushing on the lowers is probably bad anyway since the car is 40yrs old heres a good article on getting the ball joints loose this is the easiest and quickest way if u havent seperated them yet http://www.mustangsplus.com/tech/sho...shockfall1.htm
