65 Fastback restore

Default 65 Fastback restore

Hi Guys,
I am in the process of restoring a 65 facstback. What would you do priority wise to get the car up to snuff?? I have a 302 rebuilt with 351 heads with a 4 bbl carb and intake. Let me know what you guys think is the right order or restoration!! I am counting on you guys for guidance in this restoration!!!! Once dome I will take pics and email you the final outcome. However, I might be bankrupt by the time the car is done!!!! Thanks in advance for your comments!!!!

I am not looking to fix my fastball because my rotator cuff is worn out!!!

The first thing you have to get done is the suspension and brakes. BUT, if the rust is so bad that you can't hang new parts on it, then take care of the rust first. Once you get it safe to drive, then work on the engine and other chassis running parts. Once that is accomplished, then body work and interior work. The last thing is wheels and stereo.
I fixed your Fastball. This is not your first Rodeo is it? If it is, then here is a good article you need snuggle up to.
