No Doubt, rebuild the originals. Since you have the shafts and BJ's it is a no brainer. The only problem I would foresee is that the old arms may be worn and the threads on the new shafts may not catch.So, check the new shafts on the old arms before going throuh the trouble of stripping them etc. Ask me how I know.

Send them off the John at OpenTracker Racing - He'll rebuild them, make sure you get Moog heavy duty ball joint installed on them and he'll also put a 90 degree zerk fitting on them so that you can get at them.

He did mine and they turned out great.

Yea - me too! Since installing them I haven't had a chance to take the car out for a spin though.

BTW- latamud, your yellow 'stang sits REALLY well. Love that low slung look.

I would replace them you don't know what could have happened to them over 40 years. It is not an expensive process and can be done in a weekend easily.

well i am college student with limited funds but i want to get is done cause the bushings are shot so i ned to get it done fairly cheap but the car was well taken care of for the most part so i hope that the arm threads are ok and not stripped
