Default Door Speaker Grills (new old stock)

Thought you might like to see NOS speaker grills... I had not seen them before today's installation...

Why put them in the doors. NPD (or equivalent) sells a kick panel that has the speaker hole in it and even the speaker mounted if you want. That way you don't have to cut the door...

I went behind the panels, but it was a ton of work and would not recommend it nowadays. In the kicks is great way to go.

its called a template....i can make one in illustrator for you in about 30seconds if you want one

did they really have a door mounted speaker option from the factory in 65/66? I don't think I've ever heard of such thing.
