Default Dagenham 4-speed

Was the Dagenham ever in a Mustang? I have a Dagenham 4-speed in my Falcon and it needs a little attention. I was curious if there was a book or info I could look at from a Mustang for all the info I need. Also, how likely is it that I would find a mechanic who would know enough about this transmission to safely be able to work on it? Not being a popular tranny (atleast I've never heard of it) in a not very popular classic, I hope I'm not up $hit creek without a paddle.

There was but it was a little itty bitty 3 speed. If you ever had a problem with something stuck between your teeth you could use it to pick it out.

All the historical stuff I've seen shows the Dagenham was an option with the 6 cyl. I wish I had one instead of my 3-speed with nonsynchro first gear behind by 200cid. But when downshifting, as long as the car is rolling, second gear is usually still enough.
