Yeah, I saw a watermark on the front bumper. Better get out that chrome polish. The head unit he's talking about is the amp. I don't see one though. Nice looking original AM radio.

Nice car. I would agree with 68scode4speed though that it is sitting a little high in the front for my tastes, but to each his own.

Nice ride. I remember running that air cleaner in the EARLY 80's. Tough getting old. At that time it would leave some dirt in the lid. Evidenlty it would hold the dirt in the foam but then it would drop out onto the bottom of the unit and of course into the carb. Have you had any problems like that? this was when I was stationed down in OK and dust was a major problem for me. I get real jealous of southern cars.
actually, the only reason i'm running this style air cleaner right now is because it is the only one that will fit with the hood closed!! I actually have a real nice S&B one but i'm having clearance issues so i have to wait til i get a 2.5 inch cowl hood. That air gap intake really raised the height of the carb!!

Just a couple of nit picks, otherwise it is a beautiful car.

I would replace the monte with a correct repro.
Get an export brace.
I personally don't like the Edelbrock valve covers.

Other than that....great job. I'm jealous, I still have a long way to go.
when i bought the car, it already had been rebuilt to stock specs and had those valve covers on it...i was more worried about getting some nice performance mods to help the car out...but yeah, valve covers are on the list to get replaced...probably some nice sheet metal ones...thanks for the comments!

watermark lol actually the car needs some attention with the paint job...when i'm done with the mods then i'm gonna repaint the car...
