Evidenlty it would hold the dirt in the foam but then it would drop out onto the bottom of the unit and of course into the carb. I would replace the monte with a correct repro.
Get an export brace.
I personally don't like the Edelbrock valve covers.
Other than that....great job. I'm jealous, I still have a long way to go.

Yeah, I saw a watermark on the front bumper.
Better get out that chrome polish. The head unit he's talking about is the amp. I don't see one though. Nice looking original AM radio.

watermark lol actually the car needs some attention with the paint job...when i'm done with the mods then i'm gonna repaint the car...
