Default I agree with you, LCC.

We might have been saying the same thing, in a way. I was just telling him not to get his feelings hurt by stuff that gets written here. I pay attention to this forum every single day. I'm a fan. You can learn tons here without posting a huge amount of questions. But there are lots of folks that will interject an opinion, be it invited or uninvited, that comes off as harsh. Some of the stuff you read here would get someone a fat lip if you were nose to nose when it was said. You are right that when I firstposted here, I wasn't prepared for the "flavor" of the responses. If I were able to afford outsourcing all work, I'd probably still do it myself, but he shouldn't be attacked for wanting to spend his time elsewhere. I'm no one to listen to... just a dude that doesn't want someone else getting his feelings hurt. Please ignore me. He doesn't seem to be bothered.

LOL Grum....

Yeah, you can't have thin skin around this bunch. Behaving like you have an achey vagina is like blood in the water for the sharks....

Based on his witty initial response, I'm guessingTimeclockmind isn't losing any sleep over something written on the net.

I, for one, enjoy his posts on details about his build and look forward to the next one. I was up that way by his shop a few weeks ago and almost stopped in just to see it but I was running late. BTW, I think we all sweat these little details to varying degrees. I don't have to have all the bolts pointing in the same direction or have proper feng shui, but certainly like things to look tidy, orderly and somewhat factory looking (that is if the '65 came with a serpentine belt, electronic ignition and lower profile, performance radials)

I for one am a detail freak like fastbackford I too line up the bolts on the fenders and were ever else I can . I enjoy what some make think as a waste of time. Some have mechanical abilityand fortunatelymy husbad and I dosaves a little money. And it does hurt when something goes amiss . Got my first door ding at 30th MCA show so it is not always on the road problems, but that is the way it goes wether you like it or not. Some like my cars others do not . I build mine for me to enjoy.
