We're replacing the locks and we can't remember...when opening the doors, are the "teeth"of the key facing up or are they facing down? I know that the trunk lock and the ignition have the teeth up but I'm not sure about the doors. Thanks in advance.

 

What year is it? If it's a 1965 then the teeth face up.

 

Teeth always up. If you get water in the lock it doesn't go down into the pins..
