I hope these arn't too big. The red is going to be where that hose comes from or in the fist picture where we plugged the intake.

Yep,, I think you have it. For sure the red circled plugs. you need to plumb one of these for the rubber tubing. I am pretty sure that is the right tubing, if it continues down to the transmission I will give you a 99.9% that that is the right tube.

Bring the two together and you got it.

Ok so that was the perfect advise. I got a brass fiting for the intake and hooked that hose up to it and now I can't tell when the car shifts. haha. I think my first gear is around 20-25 now instead of 40-50 mph.

Thank you all.

Had the exact same shifting problem on my c4.ended up being the modulator vacuum tube disconnected.Mine runs straight into the base of my carb.

Kickdown rods are overrated.I havent had one for 3 yrs. When I need a downshift I do it myself.More fun that way.

Thats another thing I was wondering. Could I hook it up to the carb instead of the intake? Will it make a difference? Vacume is vacume?

The only vac tube on the carb you cant use is the on up high by or on the metering block.thats for distributor vacuum.the rest are down low and can be used for other things not requiring high volume such as brake boosters.
