He wants 24k for it and I now realize with all the options the total came out to 42,000 even. I will definitely be doing this.

going to visit again tomorrow with my dad. I would need some money to cover the gap. Mine is an 06 V6, probably only worth 18-19k, where he wants 24k. So once again I will be in debt to my parents but hey, I can easily profit off of this or keep it as an investment!

you cant go wrong with a 70 mach 1....i had an 03 mach 1 and although it hauled butt (11.9 @ 114 mph, n/a,bolt on's, supension, 100% stock motor)...it would never be worth what the first machs would be!! Go for it!!

Mag 500 wheels were popular add ons. So were the sport slats. Make sure you look the entire car over. Look at the VIN number and the door data tag to make sure everything is as it should be. Check out this link, it will help you break down the data tag http://www.mustangdecoder.com/plates.html#1970 Always check out everything on a classic! And take your time. If you do buy the car get a Marti Report, it will tell you what original options your car came with. The big determining factor as to how much it is worth is the condition, engine, tranny and rear end gear. All those things you can tell by looking at it and breaking down the door data plate. Good luck!
