Default Brake Conversion Kit

I have been looking for a kit for a while now, and I still haven't decided. I am willing to spend the money to get it right, but don't have the kind of money to get it wrong. The granada swap just doesn't make me feel comfortable even though I've had about 80 people say its fantastic..So I've been torn between the ssbc kits and the baer kits just trying to find the best price and decide. Then I just found this kit wanted some input. Other then my few lingering questions about sizes etc. The feedback is good from the indivdual just wanted some thoughts..I'm not looking for 13" rotors or anything car isn't going to be used for that just going for DD quality with Track maybe some weekend. Any thoughts would be great.

I thought you didn't want to do the Granada swap. Isn't that what that package is?

Is there a package now for the granada swap? That is like all together and everything. Last time I looked it involved finding a donor car and all that and then still mentioned might have trim here and there to make it fight..which to say the least was worth the money to go else where.

Here are a couple places that sell the SN95 Cobra brake swap.

http://www.vintagevenom.com/

You could just run stockMustang front disk brakes, the whole setup from my 71 will be for sale soon (you can often find them on eBay), check out mustang Steve for more brake info... he also sells tie rod adapters that would allow you to run Granada or 70-73 mustang disks with your stock steering components.

I believe I saw his set on ebay as well - one thing he that he does not yet have the power set available ... the first post with the ebay link was showing a set with power booster - any thoughts on power booster vs no power booster?

Depends. On a light 65-66 the power booster isn't necessary. 67 up will need it if you want it to feel like a modern car.

I may be wrong, but isnt that link in the first post an original setup? And 575 is about the best Ive seen on the net, but you can get it half that price at a local store if you put it together yourself. And shipping is going to kill you.
