Another option isQuiet Car.http://www.quietcar.net/ It is a thick paint type product that you spray/brush/roll. Supposed to be easier to apply and work better than mats. My brother did his car with this product with good results so I ordered some but have not applied it yet.

Anyone else heard or used this product?
I have used it and that is the only thing I will use now.
I love the stuff.
It works better than the mats and is so much easier to paint on then have to cut the mat to shape, peel off the backing then roller it on or press hard to make sure it sticks.
Also it is cheaper to use it than the mats.
Once you use this you will not go back to the stick on mat stuff.

Sound good!
I am looking at some Dynomat Extreme on ebay, wow this stuff can get pricey. How many square feet do I need to complete a 65 fastback? As for the rust inhibitor is POR the way to go, is there anything that allows for easy application (rattle can)?

Thanks again!
I remember looking into it on ebay awhile back. Make sure you know how many square feet it is before you make any purchases. I remember there were auctions for "1 pack" for 100 bucks but it was about 24 of those little square that you can use for speakers. I tried a different search word and it came up with better results. The second time it was "1 pack" but it was in rolls of 150sq feet for the same price...

Here is the top notch stuff Dynamat offeres but its a lil expensive..
http://cgi.ebay.com/Ultimate-B-Quiet...QQcmdZViewItem
Here is another Dynamat product, not the very best thing they have but still better than most offer brands. This is the next to best product they offer...
http://cgi.ebay.com/100-sq-ft-EXTREM...QQcmdZViewItem
Its half the price and same sq footage. Ill probably go for this one..
