No, when I had the car body restored, they also painted the trunk except for the top of the tank. So, I just brushed the Rust Away on the top and edges of the tank. You can get it at Ace hardware. It made the rust turn black, so I guess it works.

Not real sure what this stuff is. It doesn't list the formula. It just says that it chemically alters existing rust into a protective Polymeric coating. And, it says it can be used as a primer. I know that when it dries completely it is hard as a rock.

Looking good Timeclock.

Hey, does Mustangs Etc. do paint? If so, are they $10K± plus only type jobs or can you get anything done there for $3k-$5k for a "driver" paint job? I need to start looking for paint and body but I don't want to make it so nice that I don't want to drive it.
