My dad just moved to Levine, Az about a year ago and he's still trying to get used to the heat. Definitely 4 core and a shroud
or electric fan weather there.
Yea Phoenix is hot, hot, hot!!

I have always lived at 4,000 ft elevation or better, it's not quite so bad in the summer, but of course it is a little colder in the winter as well though.

Even from Phoenix, it is not a real long trip to the mountains though.

I was in Tucson one summer in August and it about fried my brain. We went to Old Tucson to see the town and take in the play and I will never go to the desert in Arizona in the summer ever again.

Yea when I was in the Marines I made many trips to Yuma and when I F18 training in Lemoore Ca. I drove from MD to there on the northern route during oct. and came back the southern route in Feb. or Mar. I don't remeber its been a long time. After 3 days of desert driving I was hoping to see something different. I will say the sunsets were great.

San Diego is awsome for any day driving... By 7 pm even on a hot day,, its just the right temp to have the windows down cruising around like you own the world... love it..
