id move or tag it somewher that doesnt have smog testing. be happy they didnt pass a law they tired a few years back any car over 15 years old i think would no longer be tagged so you couldnt drive it. thank god every car club was protesting it

For starters, unlike some states that limit testing in metropolitan areas, smog checks here are statewide. So, that would mean registering it out of state which can bring up several issues as well. Not only is there a hotline to rat out cheats trying to avoid the high registration fees, but things will get a bit sticky if your insurance company finds out. In the "good old days" it was pretty easy to drop a little green and get it smogged. That is much more difficult to do now.
