Default Transmission Swap

Hey. Im 22 and new to the restoration game. I do not have a car yet and am looking for a 67. I want a manual shift but the majority of the ones I see are automatic. How much time, effort, and most of all $ is it to convert an automatic to a manual. Is it even worth the effort. Oh, and I do know a little about cars but I would DEFINITELY need some sort of instruction to perform this myself. In addition, if any knows where I could find a "nice"65 coupe, or a 67 Fastback for under 12k, feel free to contact me. Soup2700@yahoo.com Thanks.

Check out the FAQ section, you could spend a whole day reading but you will learn a lot and all of your questions will be answered.

If you do it right it's probably more trouble and money than you want to spend.
