Default Windshield leaks

I have installed my windshield with a new weatherstrip and cannot get it to quit leaking water. I have a 1966 GT coupe. There are no glass people in my area that have worked on cars this old. Does anyone know what I can use to seal the windshield to stop the leaks?

You need a special window molding removal tool.

Did you run a bead of silicon around the perimiter of the seal, glass meets the seal? After the windshield is in, you can then run a nice bead around the seam where the seal meets the body and it will be covered nicely by the stainless trim.

Don't bend (kink) the molding getting it off. For as little as the pieces seam, it's expensive to replace. Specially the back widow trim. Ask me how I know. [:@]

Get a pro to do it...that way if they tear it up or it still leaks then they will have to fix it. Make sure you get that in writing.
