The headlights are pretty dim on my 67 is there anything I can do to brighten them up?
Thanks.

there are a few things. one you can buy a bigger alternator that puts out more amps. or you can buy one some relays like these http://www.mustangdepot.com/OnLineCa.../headlamps.htm
for $40. other then that is would have to be new after market head lights.

cant remeber the actual code number from sylvania (think its 9008 or something but its the only big round ones you'll find at pep boys/schucks/checkers/kregen/napa etc)

nm found it on the sylvania web site....number is H6024 i believe, not a good pic but it think its them
http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProd...r/ProductLine/

but believe me....best $50 you'll spend

I put halogens in my '67. Made a world of difference and didn't cost an arm and a leg.

Yeah, I also put halogen bulbs in my 65, but it didn't make that much difference. The problem is that we aren't getting a full 12 volt charge to the headlights, and these seem to make the 12 volts available to the headlights.
