shorty headers for a 351C
Not shorties but my hooker comps seem to be tucked up pretty nice. I could post a pic if you like. Sure you prob know but I'll say it anyways, they say you get better torque with long tube headers and since the clevelands don't have much o that on the low rpm range I went with the Hooker Comps. Not only for that reason but mine is 4bbl and I had some troubles with leaks on a pair of blackjacks.

what about a tri-y style header? They usually dont hang as low.

Sanderson makes some nice ones. They hand make them in South San Francisco, kinda spendy, but very nice. I have a set on mine.

Here are some pics. I guess they do hang down a bit. I've never had a problem but then again the previous owner raised the front and rear about 1-2" with some super stiff springs. You can see the drivers side hangs a bit lower. These hookers fit with a c6, one reason I went with them. The drivers side only hangs about 1-2" below body & tranny I hope these help
I hear tell the JBA line of headers are hard to beat. They are kinda exlensive, but you get what you pay for. They have a full line of long tube Tri-Y's to mid-length. You may not need the shorty's. JBA makes shorty headers, but not for classic engines. Consider the mid length so you can still have a collector.
