Alternator ?'s.
Has anyone ever installed a high power 1 wire alternator? Im thinkin bout gettin one from jegs or summit, cuz all the extra electronic loads im puttin on the stock alternator is gonna fry it, i know it.
Well, I can't say I have, but I did just have to replace the alternator in my truck, and I went with a real good one. I must say, I was shocked. I didn't know my windows rolled up that fast! And the lights in my dash were visible! It was awesome
Good luck though, I need to know this info too. I hear if you go to a 1 wire, you need to keep it above 2K rpm to keep it charging.

I've got a powermaster 100amp also, I was kind of worried about needing the 2k rpm tokick it off. But you typically hit that just starting it and Ihve not had an issue with it - pretty easy install -powermaster has a built in regulator so you justhook wire to battery side of solenoid and good to go.Only down side is that you're gauge foramps is bypassed and won't give you a reading any longer.
