Let me re-phrase.. Carroll in the younger years. Not the corporate entity that the person or the name has become.

Oh, and "saaaaaa l a p" on the grammer and punctuation. ha

When i see rides type programs on discovery and they say shelby designed the cobra that get me mad. I mean he is an after market tuner like prodrive, amg, brabus etc. Have you seen anycars he has designed head to toe on the road? Nope or very rarely. Foose, coddington etc are also over praised imo and now they seem to produce everything including air freshners!! They are the warhol's of the car world imo.

sorry to keep being a grammar and source ****, but you guys citing stuff from wikipedia do know that any chump who thinks he knows about a subject can add stuff to wikipedia right? For the most part you can find a lot of factual information, but I would call it a reliable source.

Oh and speaking on the term restomod, according to MP, who {quote}{/quote} has a trademark on the phrase, restomodding is:

The key words in this statement are 'intentionally changed' because that tells us that a decision was made to change the car from factory original. Restored and modified or restored and modernized, if you prefer. Some of these intentional changes can be stereos systems, aftermarket tires and wheels, engine dress up kits, paint work, interior color combinations, and anything else that someone does to their Mustang that intentionally makes it look, drive or perform differently than when it came off the assembly line.

Tact and class is again, a personal preference just like resto mods on a classic. We live in America and this is the Internet.
So you are saying that calling people "knotheads" and calling their equipment a "POS" is showing tact and class?
Where did I say anything about what tact and class is? I said it's a personal preference.
But everyone is so seeennssittivvve (sensative), Everyone should sit at their desks like good little boys and girls,,,, lest we put them on prozac!!!

Lots of men have given in to what society wants men to be today, and really they are not "men" anymore,,,, they are "men lite", very prone to offence and (did I offend anyone? sorry!! but, what the hell,,, the thread will be deleted anyway,,, right...)

Chris-

If you can honestly tell me that you approve of your staff acting in the way that they have, then I will make a heartfelt public apology to Glen, and all others that feel I was in the wrong. I (among others) have brought up a concern and am waiting to see the outcome before I make any hasty decisions. This is an awesome website and I do enjoy spending time here, but I'd rather not waste my time on a site that condones these types of actions.

However, if you think those actions have crossed the line of what most people consider acceptable behavior from a person in a position of authority, I am *beyond* ready for this issue to go away so we can move away from the drama and back to the Mustang related stuff. If this is the case, I imagine that you have taken whatever steps that you felt necessary to help avoid this happening in the future and the classic section will better because of it.

Let me know where you stand. If you don't want to post it in public, a PM might be a better way to go.

Would you continue buying parts from an auto parts store where the salespeople called the customers names and told them that their equipment was a POS? Would you let them treat *you* like that without saying anything? Would you speak to a manager? Would you take your business elsewhere? As I said before, it has nothing to do with people being sensitive or thin-skinned. It is all about common decency. You can choose to be a push-over and let this happen, or you can try to do something about it. Your choice. Also, for the record, you don't know the entire story. You've only seen the public parts, there have been PM conversations that take it further than you know about.

Taking this message under consideration, and not knowing that there have been PMs that may change the issue as I have seen it, if an apoligy is due, (you will know better than I) then I offer my apoligy.

I think it is time for all parties to "forgive and forget", and put this behind us. IMO it is time.
